CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Asst. Strength Coach, Football assists in enhancing the physical and mental development of student-athletes through established training programs that intensify their physical strength and cardiovascular conditioning.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Assists in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for all student-athletes within the sport.
2. Facilitates continuing education of all student-athletes in the areas of nutrition, supplementation, and ergogenic aids.
3. Supports senior trainer(s) and medical staff with rehabilitative programs.
4. Assists with the maintenance of all equipment and enforces all rules and regulations.
5. Engages in the testing and evaluation of all student-athletes and maintains appropriate records.
6. Remains current in the field of strength and conditioning by continually reviewing all appropriate literature and attending conferences and seminars.
7. Maintains current and thorough knowledge of all applicable University, departmental, and NCAA rules and regulations.
8. Ensures compliance with NCAA, institutional, and departmental policies and procedures.
9. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
Certification and Licensing:
